My Chicken beansprout,carrot,mushroom in a oyster sauce


Hi everyone as promise here my recipe for this week. Today am going to share with you my chicken and beansprout,carrot,mushroom in a oyster sauce. It's easy and delicious as usal. it's doesn't cost much to cook and all the ingredient are easy to found in any local supermarket and any cash and curry shop.

ingredient
serving 6
 
1 pack beansprout
6 chicken tigth or breast ( you can have any meat you want in this dish, also you can make it a veg dish as well by adding tofu instead of chicken)
1small  pack of mushroom
6 carrot (gillian,or dices)
Pepper
glove
cinnamon
oyster sauce 2 tbsp
salt
onions
garlic (crush)
1 tsp olive oil
 
 you can add king prawn and pak choi if you want, and it does taste delicous with the pak choi in.
  1. first cut the chicken in small pieces, then in a marinade bowl add the chicken, 2 pinch of pepper, pinch of salt, pinch of clove, pinch of cinnamon and the oyster sauce, mix the ingredient together let it rest for 10 min.
  2. dice your carrot,mushroom, heat your pan and add the garlic and onion after a second add the marinade chicken let it cook for a few min, when you see that the chicken as cook and then add your mushroom let it cook let cook for few second stir well, don't cover the pan you don't want to end up with a pan full of water. after a few second add your carrots, after it cook last you add your beansprout, beansprout don't need to be cook for longtime 1-2 second is fine.
  3. serve with a salade or rice with a tomato salsa.
  4. My tomato salsa with spring onions
  5. 3 tomato, 1/2 onions, 1 sping onions, coriander, and 3 chilli (if you like chilli like I do.)
  6. dice you tomato,onions,coriander,spring onions and chilli mix with 1 tsp of olive oils with 1/2 tsp of vingar.

My Salmi Chicken easy and Dilicious

Hi My name is Charlene married with three beautiful kids, live in Crawley. I came from the beautiful island of Mauritius years ago. The reason for my blog is to share my everyday and easy meal with you. Mauritian culture is very varied and mix. we cook different food from,Indian,Chinese,and creole.
I'll share with you my recipe and let you be the judge of it when you try it for yourself. so let get started.

Today am going to share with you my (SALMI) dish that the original name.
the dish it's a mix of spice with your prefer meat. so here is the recipe.

SALMI CHICKEN


 


Ingredient

6 chicken drumstick (any other meat if you prefer)
1 tin tomato (chopped) fresh one can be used you need approximately 8 blended or chopped will be fine.
1/2 tsp glove (if you have whole clove and blended yourself is best )
1/2 tsp  cinnamon (again whole if you have)
1/2 tsp ground pepper
coriander fresh chopped (you'll need 1 tsp of coriander powder as well)
1/2 tsp cumin (again whole it's best)
9 whole garlic (9 pieces)
1 1/2 cup of red wine
1 tsp oil
Salt
2 Cube chicken flavor
anyone who like chilli you can put on or two.(all this flavor together Ahhhh)

Preparation time 10min
Cooking time 1hour
  1. if you have all the spices whole blend all of them together in a paste
  2. Mix the ingredient with the chicken and pour in 1/2 cup of wine
  3. let it rest for 30min then heat your pan and pour everything in cover and leave on a lower heat, always have and eye and stir occasionally, after seeing the meat as cook pour the rest of the wine and let it cook still you see the wine as been reduce. you should smell the aromatic of the spices and the wine. after 20 min of cooking uncover to let the wine reduce to become the sauce, because you don't want it to watery.
  4. When finish sparkle some fresh coriander over.

  1. serve with a salad of your choose and boil rice.
  2. My favourite salad with this dish is fresh lettuce and cucumber with carrot. what I do is slice 1 onion and pinch of pepper 1tsp of vinegar, 1tsp of olive oil, wash your lettuce and mix all together here is my salad lettuce. and for the cucumber and carrot same ingredient then I grate my cucumber and carrot then mix them together.

This dish cost less than 10 pound to make.
all the ingredient needed can be found in local supermarket or in any local Indian shop.
